Wildflowers don’t wait for perfect conditions to bloom. They remind us that resilience is often quiet, persistent, and deeply rooted.

Welcome to Wildflower Walk Psychotherapy. I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Lindsey Aumick, MA, LCPC, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and I believe that healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where you can simply show up as you are—without pressure, judgment, or the need to have everything figured out.

I earned my Master of Arts in Art Therapy from George Washington University, and my work is rooted in a person-centered approach. I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you who to be or what to do, but to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care as we explore what you need to heal and grow.

I work with adults in Maryland experiencing trauma, anxiety, perinatal mental health challenges, and life transitions. Whether you're carrying the weight of past experiences, adjusting to becoming a parent, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or navigating a season of uncertainty, you don't have to do it alone. Together, we'll create a space where you can make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward the life you want to live.

Clients often describe my style as warm, gentle, and calming. I value authenticity and believe that meaningful change happens through a trusting therapeutic relationship. I know that healing isn't about being "fixed"—it's about feeling supported as you rediscover your resilience, honor your story, and learn to care for yourself with greater compassion.

The name Wildflower Walk Psychotherapy reflects what I hope therapy can be. Like wildflowers, we all grow in our own time and in our own way. Even after difficult seasons, growth is possible. Therapy isn't about rushing the process—it's about creating the conditions where healing can naturally unfold. Wherever you are on your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, empathy, and acceptance, I'd love the opportunity to connect. You don't have to have all the answers before you begin—just a willingness to take the first step.
